Currently, we are working with a team of 15 engineers (as of 2024), originally introduced to us through a referral. At first, we had concerns about two main points: managing operations remotely and whether communication in English would be feasible within our company. However, once we actually got started, the process went smoothly through continuous daily improvements.
Among the tasks we’ve outsourced, we were especially able to achieve our initial goals for creating floor plans for rental properties. The frontend members in Cebu handle coding and maintenance of our member companies’ websites, while the team in Manila is responsible for adding features and maintaining our management system. Nearly four years into this partnership, everything is running very smoothly.
What we particularly appreciated was the flexibility to add members one at a time if needed, the availability of English support when communicating with the local engineering team, and the ability to conduct interviews and trials before officially assigning a member to the project. These factors made a significant difference for us.
I’m looking forward to visiting Cebu again soon and deepening our communication over a meal with everyone.
